Sweet Potato Chips with Carrot and Beet Powders

These sweet potato chips with Dr. Cowan's Garden Carrot Powder and Dr. Cowan's Three-Beet Powder, are the perfect mid-day, nutritious snack!

Dr. Cowan's Garden Sweet Potato Chips!

Ingredients: 

  • 4 medium sweet potatoes, cut thin
  • 2 Tbsp coconut oil
  • 2 tsp Beet Blend Powder
  • 2 tsp Carrot Powder
  • Salt to taste
Dr. Cowan's Garden Sweet Potato Chips

    Directions:

    1. Heat a skillet on medium-high until very hot. Add all the coconut oil and reduce heat to medium. 
    2. In batches simmer the sweet potatoes until nicely browned and crispy. Be careful not to burn. During the process, it may be necessary to reduce heat to medium-low.
    3. Sprinkle powders and salt over the top while still hot.
