Better Mango Lassi

Take a crack at this recipe for a healthier alternative to egg nog. Made with almonds, egg yolk, kefir, and warming spices such as turmeric, cinnamon, and cardamom, this mango lassi is sure to tickle your taste buds. There’s no need to strain the almonds with a nut milk bag, as they’ll blend smoothly with the mixture. For a healthier beverage, use kefir instead of regular plain yogurt. The egg yolk adds a rich creaminess to this indulgent treat. I tend to skip the use of additional sweeteners when I use super ripe and juicy mangoes, but feel free to sweeten it accordingly.
