Three-Beet Icing

  • 1 Tbsp Dr. Cowan's Garden Three-Beet Powder 
  • 1/4 cup butter 
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  1. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat.
  2. Add the maple syrup and Three-Beet Powder. Turn heat to medium and simmer for 3 minutes.
  3. Allow at least 10 minutes to cool. Use as a glaze for cookies or cakes. 
  4. (The beet powder won't dissolve completely, which gives the glaze a rustic finish!)
