Broccoli Bowl

Need a quick fix for supper? Create this colorful broccoli bowl with everyday ingredients: broccoli, red pepper, chopped prosciutto ham, sauerkraut and halloumi slices or crumbled feta cheese. Not feeling broccoli? Swap it out with a different cruciferous vegetable. Garnish your broccoli bowl with a dash of raw fermented probiotic hot pepper sauce and feel your tastebuds come alive.

Ingredients
1 package prosciutto ham or 8 pieces bacon, cooked
- 1 small broccoli, steamed
- small red bell pepper, sliced

1/2 tsp. Dr. Cowan’s Garden Organic Pepper Salt (optional)
-
1+ Tbsp. Dr. Cowan’s Garden A2/A2 Ghee for red bell pepper
-
1/2+ Tbsp. Dr. Cowan’s Garden A2/A2 Ghee for broccoli (optional)
-
1/2 tsp. Dr. Cowan’s Garden Organic Turmeric Powder
-
1 tsp. Dr. Cowan’s Garden Organic Low-Oxalate Powder
-
1 tsp. Dr. Cowan’s Garden Pluck All Purpose Organ-Based Seasoning (optional)
-
2 tsp. Dr. Cowan’s Garden Organic Burdock Root Powder
-
2 Tbsp. Dr. Cowan’s Garden Raw Probiotic Organic Sauerkraut – Carrot
- 1 package halloumi or 1/4+ cup feta cheese, crumbled
-
dash Jaya Raw Fermented Probiotic Hot Sauce

Dr. Cowan’s Garden Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Directions
Slice prosciutto ham into bitesize strips or cook and crumble bacon. Set aside.
- Steam broccoli.
- Thinly slice red bell pepper and sauté for several minutes over high heat with ghee and a pinch of pepper salt.
- Remove from heat and set aside.
- Drain steamed broccoli.
- To the steamed broccoli florets, mix in some ghee, then add the prosciutto ham or bacon, cooked bell pepper, remaining vegetable powders, sauerkraut, feta cheese or prepared halloumi slices and probiotic hot sauce.
- Briefly mix.
- Garnish with olive oil and serve.
Recipe Note
