Veggie Popcorn and Caramel Corn
Ingredients:
1 cup Heirloom Yellow Flint Popping Corn
1 tbsp Olive oil
½ Cup Butter
Sea Salt to taste
Dr. Cowan’s Garden Leek Powder
Dr. Cowan’s Garden Threefold Blend (Savory) Powder
Dr. Cowan’s Garden Three-Beet Powder
Dr. Cowan’s Garden Threefold Blend (Spicy) Powder
Maple Syrup
2 tbsp Butter
Flur de Sal (flaky salt)
Popcorn
Directions:
- Heat oil in pan
- Add popping corn, cover and shake periodically
- Melt butter
- Once popped, pour into 4 bowls
- Pour melted butter over popcorn
- Toss/mix with spoons
- Sprinkle with salt
- Sprinkle powders, and mix
Caramel Corn
Directions:
- Pop the corn
- After popped, pour in bowl
- In the pan, heat maple syrup and butter until it bubbles and thickens
- Add popcorn and stir to cover
- Sprinkle with salt, and add back into bowl
