September Meal Plan

 

 Pumpkins and spicy peppers are in season and I am very happy about it! I could honestly eat pumpkin in some form or another at every single meal of the day, while it is fresh, and not get tired of it.

Ciambella Alla Zucca

  • 3/4 lb wild haddock
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 pints beef bone broth
  • 2 pints chicken bone broth
  • 1 pint heavy cream
  • 1 lb butter
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 4 oz Gouda cheese
  • 1 cup raw milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 cups peas
  • 4 carrots
  • 2 onions
  • 1 pint mushrooms
  • 2 large pumpkins (Musque de Provence or cheese wheel are best)
  • 1 shallot
  • 2 bulbs garlic
  • 1 pint Shishito pep pers
  • 1 eggplant
  • 1 lemon
  • 8 fresh chili peppers
  • 1 stalk celery
  • 1 fresh bay leaf
  • 2 tbsp dried sage
  • Olive oil
  • 2 cups pastry flour
  • Sea salt
  • 1 package gnocchi
  • White wine
  • Soy sauce
  • 1 pint dried navy beans
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 pilsner or Oktoberfest beer
