Chunky Potato-Leek Soup

Ingredients: 1 quart bone broth plus 1 cup, preferably chicken 3 medium or  6 small potatoes 2 Tbsp butter or ghee 1 onion, peeled and diced 3 Tbsp Dr. Cowan's Garden Leek Powder Sea salt and pepper to taste Directions: Heat butter or ghee in a large saucepan. Add diced onion and cook till soft and fragrant. Remove to a small bowl. Peel and chop potatoes into large chunks. Add bone broth to the saucepan and bring to a simmer. Add potatoes to the broth and simmer, covered, till potatoes are soft. Add the cooked onions to the cooked potatoes in the saucepan. Mash together with a potato masher. Butternut Squash Soup in 10 Minutes (or Less)

Ingredients: 2 strips bacon, chopped ½ onion, chopped ½ Anaheim or jalapeño pepper, chopped (depending how much spice you like) ¼ cup Dr. Cowan’s Garden Winter Squash Powder 3 cups broth (chicken, beef or vegetable) or water Salt and pepper to taste  Directions: Sauté chopped bacon in large saucepan over medium-low heat. When cooked, remove from pan and drain off all but about one tablespoon of grease. Add chopped onions and chopped peppers to pan and cook till soft. Add Winter Squash Powder to sautéed vegetables and stir to combine. Add the broth and whisk to incorporate. Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef 5 cloves garlic, whole, peeled 3 large carrots, diced 1 large onion, chopped  1 tsp Dr. Cowan's Garden Pepper Salt 2 tsp Dr. Cowan's Garden Threefold Blend Powder 6 to 8 various chilis 2 small bell peppers, chopped 1 Granny Smith Apple, quartered 2 large heirloom tomatoes, diced 3 cups cooked Great Northern beans 2 12-oz beers, i.e., pale ale. with mild flavor 2 bay leaves 1 cup chicken or beef broth 2 oz pancetta or bacon, diced 1 Tbsp ghee or butter 1 Tbsp olive oil Salt and pepper to taste Directions: Heat a Dutch oven over medium heat and add the olive oil. Pumpkin-Sausage Gravy

Ingredients: 1 pound ground sausage 1/2 large onion, diced 2 slices bacon 1 cup crimini mushrooms, diced ¼ cup Dr. Cowan’s Garden Pumpkin Powder 3 to 4 cups whole milk or coconut milk ¼ tsp cayenne pepper, more to taste 1 tsp black pepper 1 tsp Dr. Cowan's Garden Tomato Salt 1 tsp Dr. Cowan's Garden Pepper Salt 1 tsp Dr. Cowan's Garden Leek Powder 1 tsp Dr. Cowan's Garden Kale Powder 1 tsp Dr. Cowan's Garden Swiss Chard Powder Directions: In a large skillet, sauté bacon till cooked.
