Herbal Liver Tonic

  • 1 Tbsp roasted dandelion root, ground
  • 1 Tbsp milk thistle seeds, ground
  • 1 Tbsp Dr. Cowan's Garden Burdock Root Powder
  • 2 Tbsp roasted chicory root, ground
  • 1.5 quarts of water
Bring water to a boil, add herbs, cover and reduce to a simmer for 20 minutes. Allow to cool, then strain off herbs. Add a bit of coconut oil or milk, honey or maple syrup to serve. Makes 8 servings.
