Kickstart your morning with this healing beverage made with turmeric powder, ginger, and lemon. Knock back your wellness shot in one gulp, or if you prefer to sip slowly and savor the flavor, sweeten it with maple syrup, or a teaspoon of raw honey fortified with bee propolis. Instead of lemon you can also sweeten it with half an orange and have it as an energizing afternoon beverage.
Turmeric And Lemon Beverage
- 1 cup filtered water
1/2 tsp. Dr. Cowan’s Garden Organic Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 lemon, freshly squeezed or 1/2 orange
- 2 inches ginger root
- 1 tsp. maple syrup or raw honey (optional)
- ice (optional)
Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend for 30 seconds.
Pour into a glass filled with ice (optional) and enjoy.
If you don’t want the hassle of washing your juicer or lemon press, take a spoon and squeeze out the juice, feel free to add the pulp to the blender.
