Instant Borscht


  • 1 quart chicken or beef bone broth
  • 2 tsp Dr. Cowan’s Garden Three-Beet Powder
  • 1 tsp Dr. Cowan’s Garden Carrot Powder
  • ¼ cup heavy cream or yogurt
  • Pinch of sea salt, or more as desired



  1. In a saucepan, heat the bone broth until a rolling boil.
  2. Add the powders and sea salt and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Allow soup to cool slightly, then add the cream or yogurt and stir to combine.
