Limited Supply! Our beautiful golden A2 ghee comes from a herd of pastured cows in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The entire herd has been certified A2/A2 through genetic testing. Just from the golden color alone, you can tell this ghee is special! The ghee is very nutrient dense, rich and creamy with a light caramelized, nutty flavor. Our ghee is heated and reduced until all the milk solids separate, then the casein and lactose solids are filtered out; we filter five times! The result is good, healthy, pure, flavorful ghee!
Lactose Free (filtered 5 times)
Grass-fed
Non-GMO
High Smoke Point of 485°F (butter is 200-250°F, coconut oil is 350°F)
Remains Shelf Stable After Opening (for months or more)
You can substitute it for butter on just about anything sauteed, roasted, grilled or baked, or as a finishing butter on pancakes, toast, vegetables, grilled cheese, popcorn, pasta and rice or stirred into your coffee. We also highly recommend melting and mixing our ghee with our vegetable powders and other seasonings to create a delicious cooking and/or finishing baste for any meat!
Ghee is a nutritional powerhouse containing vitamins A, D, E and K. Our grass-fed ghee has much higher levels of vitamin K2, which is important for heart health. Ghee contains CLA, conjugated linoleic acid, an Omega-6 fatty acid that stimulates the body to increase metabolic rates, boost “immunity” (detoxification) and sustain lean muscle mass. Grass-fed ghee contains Omega-3 fatty acids, another critical component of a healthy heart. Ghee is also very moisturizing for skin and hair and has anti-inflammatory properties.

Love your Ghee A-2 for cooking, flavoring, and wherever I want healthy and delicious oils. I also like your powders. Here, your organ-based seasoning added to my veggies and egg.
We go through a lot of this ghee! My 4 children love it and I love knowing they’re being nourished daily by this delicious top quality ghee. I don’t tolerate dairy well so this has been a great addition to my diet. Even my son with severe dairy allergies has been able to eat this!
I would not recommend this ghee. I have tried many and also made ghee. This ghee tastes like the inner coating of the lid, a chemical taste. Also tastes slightly burnt.

"I received a replacement jar and feel this ghee is of much higher quality (first jar probably an aberration). I enjoyed it and now recommend it."
I replaced my old butter with ghee and now I use it on everything and it taste’s amazing! My favorite choice for sautéed vegetables and cooking meat in.

Jennifer, thank you for sharing your photo. What are you baking, cookies or muffins? it looks delicious. Please share your recipe with us at info@drcowansgarden.com.
I was using olive oil for my fries but became concerned about over heating and flipping the bonds which creates trans fat. The other oils all have far too many omega 6’s amongst other nasty things. With this wonderful and pure ghee I don’t worry about my family’s health, the food is always delicious. Since I can cook at hotter temperatures I have golden and crispy fries every time. I love that this ghee comes from Pennsylvania not India and that the good doctor treats his cows humanly ….. they all have names not numbers. This is a superior product with no downside. I love cooking with it and you will too.
This is without a doubt the best ghee I have ever used. I've tried a lot of different brands of ghee and this has the best flavor, consistency, and it's A2 as well. It just doesn't get better than that!
This Ghee is the best I've had. I use it for gentle cooking with many of the vegetable powders and it's opened up a whole new world of possibilities. Recently I made a paste with ghee, your tumeric powder, burdock root powder, cinnamon, garam marsala, black pepper, a little cacao powder, and one organic date softened in a little water. I spread the paste on millet "cake" -- millet soaked for 24 hours in 3x water with a dash of apple cider vinegar -- baked in oven for a little over an hour at 350 -- once cooled it can be cut like a cake (and reheated in oven the next day.) Wild flavors! High vibrational food!
I love this product. It’s so delicious that i eat it one teaspoon a day as a supplement. I love the flavor and quality. A real treat.
I also love to make little fat bombs mixing it with some honey.
After being an avid ghee fan for many years I wasn’t liking the quality that I was finding. While I wanted to use one that would be of A2 quality my research began, and I found this incredible golden, smooth, buttery. Ghee! The quality is divine, and it has become a staple of mine.
This ghee is excellent. It is fresh and has a consistently good flavor. Almost at the end of my first jar and ordered a second. I put some in my coffee each day and spread on crackers. Other ghees I have found to develop an "off" smell and taste quickly. This is a great product I plan on keeping around all the time!
Fried fish was on our school lunch menu almost every Friday without fail. It was usually fish fingers, deep-fried in a thick coat of breadcrumbs. For a long time I didn’t realize it was possible to eat fish any other way. These days, I like to enjoy a piece of grilled or pan-fried fish, cooked to perfection at a fine dining restaurant. If you want to avoid the heavy price tag that usually accompanies a gourmet meal, why not create your own fish supper at home for a fraction of the price?
