Turmeric Honey with Almonds
By Esther Boateng
Here’s a sweet treat to curb your sugar craving. Instead of reaching for cookies, skip the cookie jar and try this instead. Grab a pot of honey or maple syrup, some almonds, organic turmeric powder, cacao nibs, and sweet spices, and start mixing.
This recipe works well with almonds or any other type of nut. You can also add pumpkin and sunflower seeds if you have them on hand. For an extra boost in flavor, include ginger, cinnamon or cardamom and a little vanilla extract.
